BrewCon 2023

21-23 August

Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre

Its finally happening! Can you believe it?

After 3 years of gearing up for BrewCon only to cancel, the Independent Brewers Association are beyond excited to be back together, with this year being held from 21 to 23 August at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre. Lets hope we benefit from some warm weather so we can escape from our dreary winters and truly embrace all the ‘Goldie’ has to offer.

We know everyone is super excited about BrewCon, are making plans for who in the team will attend and snapping up accommodation, see below for some Conference deals.

Conference Program

Following on from the release of the Exhibitor Magazine we are super excited to provide you with information on the conference program.

As you will note the schedule is packed with a variety of speakers and panel sessions that aim to offer insights and information for all members of a brewery team. You’ll see a couple are ‘still to be announced’ but we really want to make sure we have the subject matter right and are presenting you with the best of the best.

The program includes a range of industry experts from home and abroad as well as some interesting presentations from inspirational speakers outside of beer.

Exhibitors

Our exhibitors have been announced and we hope that our conference delegates feel that the expo will offer the breath and depth of businesses that will meet your needs. Whether you are starting out or looking to expand, there is something on offer for breweries of all sizes and scale.

As the industry has grown over the years so has the demand so we look forward to welcoming our loyal Australian partners as well as exhibitors from America, Canada, China, Germany, India, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and Puerto Rico!

We know what is important to our members so as usual there will be cracking bar options nestled amongst the stands, the all important coffee cart, food stations and the workshop space which will offer tech talks, product launches and more.

Most importantly, many of those suppliers you’ve emailed, zoomed or emailed during the ‘pandemic years’ will be there to share their stories and proudly display their wares. There really is nothing like catching up in person – or having the ability to see, smell, taste and feel products before you buy them!

While you’re wandering around please pop in to the IBA stand as the Board will be there to welcome you, to chat about your membership or to outline why you might want to become a member. We now represent more than 440 of the close to 700 independent breweries in the country and over 120 industry stakeholders so there’s never been a better time to consider joining the family.
